Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Economics lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records of academic performance.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and practical application of economic concepts.
- Mentor and guide students academically and morally, upholding the values and standards of the institution.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Prepare students effectively for external examinations with proven strategies for academic success.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven post-NYSC teaching experience in Economics at the secondary school level.
- A relevant degree in Economics, Education, or a related field (NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc.Ed, or B.Sc with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education).
- Proficiency in computer literacy and modern educational technology tools for virtual and interactive learning.
- Possess a strong moral background, professional integrity, and a God-fearing disposition.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Willingness to relocate to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, if not currently resident.
