Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive Economics lessons to secondary school students using both the Nigerian and British curricula.
  • Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and formative or summative assessments to evaluate student progress effectively.
  • Mentor and guide students academically and morally, ensuring alignment with the school's core Islamic values and codes of discipline.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Monitor student performance closely and provide constructive feedback to learners and parents to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Economics, Education, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Proven experience teaching Economics at the secondary school level within a dual curriculum setting.
  • Strong subject matter expertise with a track record of excellent student academic outcomes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a natural passion for teaching and student mentorship.
