Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver engaging English as an Additional Language (EAL) lessons tailored to students of varying proficiency levels.
- Assess student language needs and monitor ongoing progress through structured testing and formative evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with mainstream subject teachers to integrate language support across the broader curriculum.
- Create an inclusive, supportive, and culturally responsive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
- Provide targeted intervention sessions to accelerate language acquisition and boost overall academic confidence.
- Maintain comprehensive records of student development and communicate effectively with parents regarding progress.
- Possess a relevant degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field alongside recognized teaching certification.
- Demonstrated professional experience teaching EAL within a reputable British or international school setting.
- Thorough understanding of the national curriculum for England and Wales and EAL pedagogy.
