In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our organization by providing safe, efficient, and courteous transportation for our staff, esteemed guests, and company assets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Nigerian traffic laws, exceptional knowledge of Abuja and its environs, and a steadfast commitment to road safety and passenger comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Transport company staff, management, and official guests safely and punctually to designated destinations within and outside Abuja.
- Perform daily routine checks on company vehicles, including monitoring fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and lights to ensure optimal working condition.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road signs, speed limits, and company safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate logs for all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Ensure company vehicles are kept clean and tidy on both the interior and exterior on a regular basis.
- Handle vehicle documentation, routine servicing, and prompt reporting of any mechanical faults or accident incidents to management.
- Deliver official documents, packages, and materials securely and promptly when required.
- Provide courteous, polite, and professional assistance to all passengers, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- Minimum of an SSCE certificate or equivalent educational qualification.
- At least 5 years of verified professional driving experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Possession of a valid, current Nigerian driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of major roads, routes, and traffic patterns across Abuja.
- Certified training in defensive driving and basic vehicle troubleshooting is a strong advantage.
- Good verbal communication skills and a neat, professional appearance.
