About the Role
Greywood Hotels & Apartments is situated in a serene and well-secured environment, providing clean and comfortable accommodation to professionals and corporate entities. We are currently looking for a professional and reliable Driver to join our dynamic hospitality team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting guests, staff, and goods safely and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service and representing our brand with the utmost professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport guests, staff, and hotel items to and from designated locations in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall roadworthiness of the assigned hotel vehicle at all times.
- Conduct routine checks on vehicle conditions including fuel, oil, tires, and brakes, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Strictly adhere to all local traffic laws, Nigerian road safety regulations, and internal hotel policies.
- Assist arriving and departing guests with luggage handling and deliver courteous service during all transit periods.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date logs of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and daily travel schedules.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the front desk and management team regarding guest transport requests.
- Ensure all statutory vehicle documentation such as insurance and registration remain valid and current.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record and sound knowledge of local routes.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably within the hospitality or corporate sector.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm, focused, and professional under pressure or heavy traffic conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Good physical fitness to safely assist with heavy luggage loading and unloading.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required by hotel operations.
