About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and safety-conscious Professional Driver to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting our cleaning staff, equipment, and supplies to various client sites while ensuring timely arrivals and maintaining the optimal roadworthiness of your assigned vehicle. Key Responsibilities- Safely transport cleaning staff, equipment, and supplies to client locations and return to base.
- Ensure timely arrival at job sites in strict alignment with scheduled cleaning contracts.
- Maintain the cleanliness, security, and roadworthiness of the assigned company vehicle at all times.
- Conduct routine pre- and post-trip inspections, checking oil, water, brakes, tires, and fuel levels.
- Keep accurate daily logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and trip details.
- Adhere strictly to Nigerian traffic laws, company driving policies, and high safety standards.
- Assist the team with the loading and unloading of cleaning materials, supplies, and heavy equipment.
- Support logistics operations by dispatching urgent documents or supplies when required.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality and professional decorum when transporting staff or sensitive materials.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager regarding efficient route planning and vehicle scheduling.
- Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary Certificate Examination) qualification.
- Must possess a valid, appropriate class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience, ideally within the corporate or facility service industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of vehicle maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic mechanical repairs.
- Strong familiarity with Lagos and surrounding operational routes.
- Good communication skills and the physical fitness required for equipment handling.
- Mandatory residency within the Abijo GRA and Awoyaya areas of Lagos State.
