About the Role
Stockgap Fuels Limited is a leading player in the Nigerian downstream petroleum and LPG sector, committed to excellence and strategic infrastructure development. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman (2D / 3D CAD) to join our dynamic team within the Office of the Chief Program Management Officer (CPMO). In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality engineering designs for our capital projects, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, update, and control precise 2D engineering drawings including plot plans, general arrangements, foundation layouts, P&IDs, single line diagrams, and piping isometrics using AutoCAD.
- Build, maintain, and update comprehensive 3D plant models, executing automated clash and interference checks to resolve design conflicts proactively.
- Extract accurate orthographic drawings, isometric drawings, and material take-offs (MTOs) directly from 3D models.
- Review third-party contractor drawings to ensure strict compliance with internal drafting standards and specifications.
- Update and finalize drawing packages to accurate as-built status utilizing site red-line markups.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor's degree (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or Engineering Design.
- 5 to 10 years of proven drafting and design experience focused specifically on downstream oil and gas facilities.
- Demonstrated mastery of AutoCAD for 2D drafting alongside proficiency in leading 3D platforms such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, SP3D, AVEVA E3D, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Extensive hands-on portfolio showcasing complex 2D layouts, P&IDs, piping isometrics, MTO extraction, and 3D clash detection.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
