About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is acting as a gateway for top-tier recruitment, seeking a detail-oriented and organised Disbursement Officer (Rider) to join our client's growing operations in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate vehicle readiness, oversee accurate financial disbursements, maintain compliance with KYC/AML protocols, and deliver exceptional customer handovers.
Key Responsibilities- Confirm vehicle readiness through pre-delivery inspections, verifying engine and chassis numbers, and ensuring functional tracking devices.
- Review approval documents, coordinate vehicle registration and insurance, and ensure strict adherence to internal controls and KYC/AML regulations.
- Process approved disbursement instructions into the Loan Origination System (LOS) while maintaining meticulous records for audit and reconciliation.
- Manage logistics and vehicle movement across assembly, storage, and delivery locations while conducting professional customer handovers.
- Perform daily transaction reconciliations, identify duplicate or suspicious instructions, and escalate risk flags promptly to safeguard company assets.
- Recommend practical process improvements to enhance the safety, speed, and efficiency of disbursement and vehicle delivery workflows.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of proven experience in operations, logistics, fleet management, auto-finance, or vehicle dealership environments.
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and exceptional time-management capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of disbursement controls, reconciliation processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Clear communication skills, sound risk judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information with utmost integrity.
