About the Role
Lington & Bernie Consulting Limited is seeking a results-driven Direct Sales Agent to promote financial products, acquire and manage customers, and support the sales process from prospecting to onboarding. As a Direct Sales Agent, you will serve as the face of our client's brand, identifying new business opportunities, guiding customers through product offerings, and ensuring every transaction is handled with professionalism and compliance. You will play a key role in expanding market reach while maintaining strong, lasting relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities- Identify potential customers through cold calls, networking, referrals, and local market knowledge
- Actively seek new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase revenue
- Present and explain features, benefits, and terms of banking products such as loans, savings accounts, and credit facilities
- Tailor sales approaches to meet individual customer needs and persuade prospects to take action
- Provide personalized support, guiding customers through product selection, eligibility criteria, and application processes
- Maintain ongoing relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Assist clients in completing applications, collecting required documents, and verifying information for accuracy and compliance
- Manage sales pipelines, track leads, and report progress to supervisors
- Prepare sales reports to inform decision-making and monitor performance against targets
- Adhere to banking laws, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and internal policies
- Ensure all activities are conducted ethically and in line with the code of conduct
- Collaborate with sales teams, marketing, and product specialists to coordinate efforts and achieve sales objectives
- Act as the primary point of contact, fostering trust and enhancing customer experience through expert advice and personalized service
- Age range of 20 to 35 years
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is an advantage
- Good understanding of banking products and financial services is a plus
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Good knowledge of local market dynamics
- Basic computer literacy for documentation and reporting
