Key Responsibilities- Teach proper diction, phonetics, and speech improvement to students across various grade levels.
- Develop engaging lesson plans focused on verbal communication, vocabulary expansion, and public speaking.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to improve pronunciation and fluency.
- Prepare students for debates, spelling bees, cultural presentations, and inter-school speaking competitions.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and interactive learning environment that builds student confidence.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate effective communication skills across the standard curriculum.
- A degree in Education, English Language, Linguistics, or a related relevant field.
- Possession of a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) will be considered an added advantage.
- Proven teaching experience in diction, phonics, or English language instruction within a structured school setting.
- Strong oral communication, listening, and interpersonal skills with a neutral, clear accent.
- A genuine passion for teaching, patience, and a strong commitment to student success.
- Must possess high moral standards and be God-fearing.
- Mandatory requirement: Interested candidates must currently reside in Awka, Anambra State.
