About the Role
10Alytics is a leading educational technology company empowering individuals and corporate organizations across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe with critical data and tech skills. We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Specialist to join our Cyber Security Department on a contract basis. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain the secure, scalable infrastructure powering our learning platforms, internship programs, and internal operations while embedding robust security best practices across the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications utilizing Docker and Kubernetes across various environments.
- Collaborate with software engineering and security teams to integrate DevSecOps best practices, infrastructure hardening, and access controls.
- Monitor system performance, configure logging and alerting, and automate operational processes to ensure high availability.
- Build and maintain reliable cloud-based lab environments to support hands-on learning and practical internship projects.
- Lead incident response, vulnerability remediation, and maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven DevOps experience with strong Linux administration skills and hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines and managing containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles, networking fundamentals, and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator are a strong plus.
