In this full-time, on-site role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, driving innovation, and ensuring the seamless delivery of robust digital solutions that support our expansive business operations across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate DevOps activities across software and infrastructure engineering teams to optimize delivery speed and system stability.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable CI/CD pipelines for reliable integration and automated deployments.
- Manage infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and cloud or on-premise environments.
- Monitor system performance proactively, ensuring high availability, security, and resilience in a production-focused environment.
- Guide test automation processes and integrate automated testing into deployment workflows to guarantee software quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve deployment bottlenecks and troubleshoot critical incidents.
- Mentor junior and mid-level DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Document technical workflows, tools, and processes to support efficient and compliant operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a strong advantage.
- Proven experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or technical leadership role managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong background in software development life cycles, integration, build, release, and deployment processes.
- Hands-on expertise in configuring and optimizing CI/CD tools and continuous integration practices.
- Proficiency in containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of server provisioning, automated testing workflows, and enterprise monitoring tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence.
