About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct basic oral examinations and comprehensive patient assessments in clinical settings.
  • Perform professional scaling and polishing of teeth to maintain optimal dental health.
  • Provide preventive treatments, including fluoride applications and fissure sealants.
  • Assist qualified dentists in simple restorative dental procedures under direct supervision.
  • Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene and preventive care practices.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date dental records and patient documentation.
  • Ensure strict adherence to national and facility-level infection prevention and control protocols.
  • Properly prepare, clean, and sterilize dental instruments, tools, and equipment.
  • Support dentists and other multidisciplinary dental professionals seamlessly during clinical procedures.
  • Participate actively in community oral health outreach programs and public health campaigns.
Qualifications
  • Possess a recognized Diploma in Dental Therapy or Oral Health from an accredited institution.
  • Must hold a valid professional registration and active practicing license with the relevant regulatory body.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical and preventive dental skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
  • Relevant prior clinical experience in a hospital or dental clinic environment is an added advantage.
