In this vital role, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and repairing dental prostheses such as dentures, crowns, and bridges to support patient treatment within our healthcare facilities. Key Responsibilities- Fabricate custom dental prostheses including complete and partial dentures, crowns, and bridges based on clinical specifications.
- Interpret dental prescriptions and precise impressions provided by licensed dentists.
- Prepare, pour, and cast accurate dental models and dies from patient impressions.
- Repair, reline, and adjust existing dental appliances to restore functionality and comfort for patients.
- Maintain, calibrate, and properly operate all dental laboratory equipment to ensure safety and longevity.
- Implement strict quality control measures to guarantee precision, fit, and aesthetic standards in all laboratory work.
- Adhere strictly to infection prevention, sterilization, and control procedures within the laboratory environment.
- Manage laboratory inventory, track dental materials, and report supply shortages proactively.
- Maintain accurate documentation and digital records of all completed laboratory work and patient cases.
- Collaborate closely with clinical dental teams to discuss complex cases and meet patient-specific requirements.
- Possession of a Diploma or relevant certificate in Dental Technology from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated practical skills in prosthesis fabrication and handling of dental materials.
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary dental laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and steady hand-eye coordination.
- Relevant clinical or laboratory experience in a reputable healthcare facility or dental clinic.
