About the Role
LifeBank is a pioneering medical logistics platform dedicated to making blood, oxygen, and essential medical supplies available when and where they are needed to save lives in Nigeria. We are currently looking for a dependable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team in Onipanu, Lagos. In this vital role, you will ensure the timely and secure transportation of life-saving medical products to hospitals and healthcare facilities across Lagos.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate company cars, tricycles, and manual trucks to deliver oxygen cylinders, medical consumables, and equipment.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and safe completion of all scheduled and emergency deliveries.
- Load, unload, and lift heavy medical items while strictly adhering to safety procedures.
- Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking fuel, tyres, brakes, and engine oil.
- Properly secure all products during transit to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain required proof of delivery.
- Utilize mobile dispatch applications for navigation, route tracking, and delivery updates.
- Report any accidents, delays, or vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned vehicles at all times.
- Demonstrate high professionalism when interacting with medical staff, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification or equivalent.
- Valid and current Nigerian Driver's License is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional driving experience.
- Proficient in driving cars, tricycles, and manual trucks.
- Must own and be proficient in using an Android smartphone.
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy items like oxygen cylinders and medical equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos road networks, traffic regulations, and key locations such as the Idumota Medical Market.
- Candidates must reside within or very close to Onipanu, Lagos.
- Prior experience in healthcare logistics or cold-chain distribution is an added advantage.
- Competitive monthly salary of N160,000.
