About the Role
Total Data Limited (TDL), a well-established technology and service provider since 1994, is urgently recruiting an experienced Delivery Driver on behalf of a key client in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining supply chain efficiency by ensuring products are safely and promptly transported to designated customers and locations across Asaba and the broader Eastern region.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate company delivery vans to transport and distribute FMCG products to assigned destinations.
- Plan efficient delivery routes utilizing a strong working knowledge of roads within Asaba and the Eastern region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical faults promptly.
- Secure and handle products properly during transit to prevent damage and maintain inventory integrity.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including signed delivery notes and customer acknowledgements.
- Adhere strictly to all Nigerian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Assist with the physical loading and offloading of products when necessary.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through professional and courteous interactions with clients.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within FMCG, distribution, or logistics.
- Extensive geographical knowledge of road networks across Asaba and the Eastern region.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian Driver Licence with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated experience operating both manual and automatic transmission delivery vans.
- Strong understanding of defensive driving techniques and road safety regulations.
