About the Role

Through DEER Energy-on-Demand, we offer a flexible and reliable way to manage diverse energy needs. We safely deliver diesel, cooking gas, and accessories, alongside providing solar support and electricity vending to ensure stable and sustainable energy access for all. We are currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Delivery Assistant to join our dynamic logistics team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring timely and secure distribution of our energy products, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the lead driver in the safe loading, secure transportation, and offloading of diesel, cooking gas, and related energy accessories.
- Verify product quantities and delivery documentation accurately before dispatch and upon arrival at client locations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing basic inquiries professionally and representing the DEER Nigeria brand positively.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines, environmental standards, and local traffic regulations during transit.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on delivery equipment and report any mechanical faults or safety hazards promptly.
- Support the logistics team with inventory management, warehouse organization, and other operational duties as assigned.
- Possession of relevant educational qualifications, such as an SSCE or OND, from a recognized institution.
- 1 to 2 years of proven work experience in a delivery, logistics, or related operations role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy items and withstand the physical demands of a logistics environment.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols regarding the handling of fuel and gas products is a strong advantage.
