About the Role
Mark Calthers Consulting, a premier management consulting and human capital development firm, is seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy Data Audit Officer to join our dynamic team on a 6-week contract basis in Surulere, Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining data integrity, ensuring project systems run smoothly, and supporting our clients with high-quality operational standards.
Key Responsibilities- Review and audit data captured in the project system for accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, duplicate entries, and missing information within large datasets.
- Compare system records meticulously against supporting documents and source data.
- Maintain, update, and manage comprehensive audit trackers using Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare accurate daily and periodic reports detailing identified issues and audit findings.
- Track corrections and proactively follow up on outstanding discrepancies with relevant teams.
- Ensure all project data is properly recorded, organized, and securely maintained.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional experience in system auditing, data entry, data quality assurance, administration, or a related field.
- High level of comfort using computer systems, databases, and navigating digital platforms.
- Strong and demonstrable Microsoft Excel skills are strictly mandatory.
- Proven ability to work with large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong aptitude for spotting data discrepancies.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
- Must be available for the full duration of the 6-week contract period.
- Must be resident in Lagos and able to work on-site from our Surulere office.
