About the Role
Hitech Construction Company Limited, established in 1988, is a premier Building and Civil Engineering Contractor in Nigeria with a strong nationwide presence including Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, and Benin City. We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Data Analyst to empower our operations through advanced reporting, meticulous data management, and strategic performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to generate actionable business insights.
- Design, build, and maintain automated Microsoft Excel dashboards and tracking systems.
- Utilize advanced Excel formulas such as LET, IF, and SEARCH, combined with conditional formatting and data validation.
- Classify operational outages, monitor restoration progress, and produce comprehensive operational reports.
- Manage financial records, critical operational documentation, and escalation reports efficiently.
- Develop intuitive reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify operational trends.
- Ensure stringent standards of data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality across all projects.
- Collaborate with management to support strategic decision-making through timely and reliable data analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a closely related field.
- Proven professional experience working in data analysis, business reporting, or a similar analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, encompassing complex formulas, dashboard creation, and data validation techniques.
- Demonstrated experience handling financial records and generating detailed operational reports.
- Working knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or alternative modern data analysis tools is a distinct advantage.
