About the Role
Christ The Redeemers International Secondary School is seeking a dynamic, creative, and dedicated Cultural and Creative Art Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. As part of the Christ The Redeemer's School Movement (CRSM) under the Redeemed Christian Church of God, we are deeply committed to delivering exceptional academic instruction while instilling strong moral values and Christian character in our students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Cultural and Creative Art lessons aligned with the approved secondary school curriculum.
- Inspire and guide students in developing practical artistic skills, including drawing, painting, crafting, and design.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
- Organize school art exhibitions, cultural displays, and creative workshops to showcase student talents.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages imagination and self-expression.
- Participate in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts, Education, or a related field (NCE in Art Education is also welcome).
- Proven experience teaching Cultural and Creative Art in a recognized secondary school setting.
- Strong passion for mentoring youths and nurturing creative talents.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
