About the Role
Living Treasure Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary School CRS Teacher to join our esteemed faculty in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the moral, ethical, and spiritual growth of our secondary students through comprehensive Christian Religious Studies instruction.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and interactive CRS lessons aligned with the approved secondary school curriculum.
- Foster an inclusive, respectful, and values-driven classroom environment conducive to learning and personal reflection.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and formative assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Mentor and guide students in moral development, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making based on Christian principles.
- Participate actively in school events, chapel services, staff meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain accurate academic records and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Religious Studies, Education, or a related field (NCE holders with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply).
- Proven teaching experience within a secondary school environment.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum for CRS.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- A strong moral character and alignment with the Christian values and ethos of Living Treasure Academy.
