About the Role
Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC is looking for an exceptional leader to fill the role of Coverage Head, North West. In this strategic leadership position, you will oversee the distribution and client coverage network for Personal and Business Banking, driving strategic growth, profitability, and exceptional customer service across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the execution of the Commercial Banking strategy through clearly defined coverage plans and portfolio objectives.
- Drive profitable growth, revenue, profitability, deposits, assets, and foreign exchange objectives across the region.
- Lead senior engagement with strategic clients and provide executive sponsorship for priority relationships.
- Ensure effective collaboration with Product, Operations, Credit, and Risk functions to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Manage portfolio risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and champion the adoption of digital banking solutions.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams through coaching, talent management, and strong leadership.
- First Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline.
- Postgraduate Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 12 to 15 years of progressive experience in Commercial, Corporate, or Business Banking with extensive client coverage responsibility.
- At least 5 years of experience leading managers, relationship teams, or multi-layered coverage teams.
- Extensive expertise in credit risk management, portfolio governance, and executive stakeholder engagement.
- Relevant professional banking qualifications, certifications, and regulatory accreditations are required.
