About the Role
Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, a leading full-service financial services group in Nigeria backed by the Standard Bank Group, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Coverage Head, North West. In this strategic leadership role, you will direct our commercial banking distribution and client coverage network across the region, optimizing physical infrastructure, driving digital migration, and accelerating profitable business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the execution of the Commercial Banking strategy through clearly defined coverage plans, portfolio objectives, and client-growth initiatives across the North West region.
- Drive profitable growth by acquiring target clients, increasing wallet share, and deepening penetration of existing relationships to meet revenue and asset objectives.
- Establish performance scorecards and accountability frameworks for coverage teams, ensuring seamless coordination with Product, Operations, Credit, and Risk functions.
- Manage portfolio risk proactively, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements, AML/CFT obligations, KYC standards, and internal policies.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams through effective coaching, talent management, and leadership development.
- First Degree in Business Commerce or a related field.
- Professional Banking Qualification, Credit Risk Qualification, or Leadership Certification preferred.
