About the Role
Hope Spring Community Humanitarian Initiative, the Nigerian arm of the UK-registered Hope Spring Water charity, is seeking a visionary and experienced Country Lead. In this vital role, you will spearhead our mission to improve access to safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) across Nigeria, driving impactful community development and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of the country strategy, annual operational plans, and high-impact WASH programs.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing multidisciplinary team while fostering an inclusive, values-driven culture.
- Oversee financial management, compliance, budgeting, grant acquisition, and resource mobilization efforts.
- Serve as the primary representative with Nigerian government ministries, UN agencies, donors, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure robust monitoring, evaluation, learning (MEL), and operational risk management across all projects.
- Master’s degree in International Development, Public Health, Social Sciences, Management, or a related field.
- 7-12+ years of progressive leadership experience in the humanitarian or non-profit sector, specifically within Nigeria.
- Proven expertise in donor relations, grant compliance, financial management, and strategic fundraising.
- Exceptional networking, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement skills with government and civil society.
