As a Cost Estimator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' project planning and financial management. Working within our established processes and frameworks, you'll prepare detailed cost estimates, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and provide recommendations that shape project viability and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for Oil & Gas projects
- Analyse project specifications and technical documentation to identify cost drivers
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams
- Monitor cost trends and prepare regular variance analysis reports
- Support budgeting processes and financial forecasting
- Maintain cost databases and estimation tools
- Provide cost advisory services to internal and external stakeholders
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years cost estimation experience in Oil & Gas or heavy industries
- Proficiency with cost estimation software and MS Office suite
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Knowledge of industry standards and cost estimation methodologies
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
- Professional certification (AACE, RICS) is advantageous
