We are currently looking for a dynamic and analytical Cost Controller to join our thriving Lagos office. In this vital role, you will oversee project financials, monitor expenditures, and implement rigorous cost control strategies to drive operational excellence while maintaining our unwavering commitment to the highest ethical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and monitor effective cost control techniques across ongoing oil and gas projects.
- Ensure full compliance with company rules, procedures, and international standards and norms.
- Utilize advanced cost control tools to track budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts accurately.
- Review and interpret contracts and purchase orders to mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with project management teams to optimize resource allocation and financial performance.
- Foster strong team and stakeholder relationships to streamline financial operations.
- Prepare comprehensive, accurate reports and documentation for senior management and clients.
- BSc or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Proven competence in cost control techniques and project management within the oil and gas or related sectors.
- Deep understanding of international standards, contracts, and procurement processes.
- Exceptional report-writing, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong proficiency in relevant cost control tools and software.
- Mandatory proficiency in written and spoken English.
