About the Role
DP World is a leading global supply chain solutions provider dedicated to making trade flow better and faster. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Transport Operations Controller (Executions) to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will oversee daily vehicle fleet operations, ensuring efficient and timely haulage services for top-tier clients in industries such as cold chain logistics. You will play a critical part in maximizing revenue, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless end-to-end supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities- Maximize revenue and fulfill orders by ensuring daily trip targets and delivery schedules are met efficiently.
- Coordinate transport and logistics operations, ensuring timely loading and delivery of goods to appropriate destinations.
- Monitor truck service mileage, fuel consumption via i-manager, and ensure adherence to prescribed speed limits.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip briefings, toolbox meetings, and ensure all delivery officers utilize proper PPE.
- Inspect assigned trucks, trailers, accessories, and documentation to maintain high safety standards.
- Track daily truck positions using tracking platforms to improve driver productivity and client satisfaction.
- Manage incident documentation, accident reporting, and insurance claims to minimize fleet downtime.
- BSc or HND in Sciences or Social Sciences with a minimum of Second Class Lower / Lower Credit.
- Professional certifications such as CLTD, CILT, or CSCP are highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, 3PL management, and fleet operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in transport and logistics operations, driver management, and warehouse management.
