About the Role
DP World is a leading global supply chain solutions provider dedicated to making trade flow better across the globe. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller: Inventory (Diesel) to join our dynamic team in Ibadan, Nigeria. In this critical role, you will oversee diesel dump operations, maintain accurate fuel inventory records, and ensure seamless supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate day-to-day diesel dump operations, ensuring strict compliance with internal controls and safety protocols.
- Perform daily fuel usage reconciliations, physical dippings, and weekly diesel collection reporting.
- Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) upon delivery and ensure bi-weekly calibration of dispensing meters.
- Monitor fuel captured by automated probes for trucks and stationary tanks, reconciling discrepancies with technical partners.
- Approve fuel transactions on Imanager and process issuances using Instanta and SAP software.
- Conduct weekly reconciliations comparing SAP, Instanta, and physical stock counts.
- Forecast monthly fuel utilization to prevent shortages or excessive surpluses.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in inventory management and planning.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP, alongside strong data analysis skills.
- Familiarity with asset tracking systems, fuel monitoring probes, and Microsoft Office Suite.
