About the Role
DP World is a leading global logistics and supply chain provider dedicated to making the world's trade flow better. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Contract Manager to join our maritime team in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will oversee vessel operations from on-hire to off-hire, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional service delivery to our clients across the energy and marine sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all vessel contracts from the point of on-hire up to off-hire in strict accordance with applicable charter parties.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the duration of any charter agreement.
- Review Scopes of Work for incoming enquiries and tenders to verify that company resources, vessels, and crews meet all operational requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the commercial department to report downtime, deviations, and operational issues affecting invoicing and client relations.
- Partner with the Offshore Director and commercial team to conduct regular client visits and strengthen company representation within the regional marine community.
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience in contract management within the maritime, shipping, or offshore energy sector.
- Strong understanding of charter party agreements, vessel operations, and commercial tender processes.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
