About the Role

We are currently looking for a strategic and meticulous Contract Management Specialist to join our legal team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive legal and commercial support, ensuring that all contractual arrangements align with our overarching business objectives, strict regulatory standards, and robust risk management frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of commercial contracts including NDAs, sales agreements, and subcontracts.
- Act as the primary internal and external liaison for all contract-related matters to ensure timely resolutions.
- Provide detailed redlined recommendations and lead negotiations to achieve commercially favorable outcomes.
- Maintain a secure and accurate contracts database, ensuring full audit readiness and traceability.
- Guide project managers on contract interpretation, compliance obligations, and operational effectiveness.
- Monitor contract performance, managing renewals, amendments, and close-out processes efficiently.
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and Barrister-at-Law (B.L.) with active qualification to practice in Nigeria.
- Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification legal experience, with at least 5 years focused on commercial contracts.
- Active membership in the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
- Relevant postgraduate degrees or certifications in corporate law and contract management are highly advantageous.
