We are currently looking for a talented and detail-oriented Content Writer with a strong academic background in English or a related discipline to join our dynamic team in Lekki, Lagos. In this hybrid role, you will craft compelling, accurate, and well-structured content for diverse digital audiences while collaborating with our marketing department to drive engagement and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities- Research, write, edit, and proofread high-quality, original articles and digital content.
- Ensure all submitted work meets required word counts, tone, formatting, and strict quality standards.
- Apply effective SEO writing principles including proper keyword integration, headings, and readability structures.
- Conduct thorough fact-checking using credible sources to guarantee complete accuracy.
- Collaborate with editors and marketing teams to brainstorm fresh content ideas and topics.
- Review feedback and implement revisions promptly to maintain consistent publishing standards.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging industry trends, digital marketing strategies, and SEO best practices.
- Mandatory Bachelor's degree in English, English Literature, or a closely related field.
- Proven professional experience in writing, content creation, journalism, or copywriting is preferred.
- Exceptional command of the English language with flawless grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills.
- Strong research, analytical, and storytelling abilities with a sharp attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of SEO tools, keyword research, and content management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting, coming to the Lekki office 3 days per week.
- Competitive per-article compensation ranging from ₦2,500 to ₦3,500 based on experience and article complexity.
