Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized obstetric and gynaecological care to patients at the teaching hospital complex.
- Perform complex surgical procedures and manage high-risk pregnancies and reproductive health conditions.
- Participate in the training, supervision, and mentorship of resident doctors, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct clinical research and contribute to academic excellence within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and hospital service standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits, and administrative duties as assigned by the institution.
- Possess an MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent primary medical qualification from a recognized institution.
- Must have full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and possess a current practicing license.
- Evidence of completion, exemption, or exclusion from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.
- Hold a recognized postgraduate medical qualification, such as the Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCN), West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), or West African College of Physicians (FWACP) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
