Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced specialist medical care and surgical interventions for patients with Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) conditions.
- Supervise, mentor, and train resident doctors, medical students, and other healthcare professionals within the department.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary clinical meetings, ward rounds, and emergency duty rotations.
- Conduct clinical research and contribute to academic publications to advance the field of otorhinolaryngology.
- Ensure strict adherence to clinical governance, patient safety protocols, and professional ethics.
- Possession of an MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent primary medical qualification.
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) along with a current practicing license.
- Evidence of completion, exemption, or exclusion from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate.
- Postgraduate medical qualification such as Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCN), West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), or equivalent.
