Dragnet Solutions is looking for a dedicated and skilled Consultant Paediatrics professional to join our esteemed healthcare network in Kaduna. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional specialist paediatric care across out-patient, in-patient, and referral pathways, shaping the future of child healthcare excellence in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive specialist assessment, diagnosis, and management for routine and complex paediatric cases.
- Act as the primary senior point of referral, offering expert clinical guidance to junior medical staff.
- Supervise, mentor, and actively support the training and professional development of medical officers and trainees.
- Drive clinical governance, medical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient-safety protocols.
- Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, pharmacy, diagnostics, and HMO functions.
- Maintain precise, timely clinical records while strictly adhering to MDCN regulations and internal policies.
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid and current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship specialist experience in paediatrics.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex paediatric presentations independently.
