About the Role
Dragnet Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Consultant Paediatrician to join our healthcare network in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will deliver specialist paediatric care across out-patient, in-patient, and referral settings, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive specialist assessment, diagnosis, and management for acute, chronic, and complex paediatric cases.
- Act as a senior point of referral, providing clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to junior medical officers and trainees.
- Contribute actively to clinical governance, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient-safety programs.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, pharmacy, diagnostics, and HMO functions.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in strict compliance with internal policies and current MDCN regulations.
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship specialist experience in Paediatrics with a valid, current MDCN registration and licence.
- Successful completion of mandatory housemanship, internship, and NYSC (or valid exemption).
- Demonstrated expertise in independent case management, clinical teaching, and evidence-based medical practice.
