About the Role
Dragnet Solutions is looking for a dedicated and skilled Consultant OBGYN to join our healthcare network in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive specialist obstetrics and gynaecology care across the entire patient pathway, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and management for routine and complex obstetrics and gynaecology cases.
- Serve as a senior point of referral, providing clinical guidance to junior medical staff.
- Supervise, mentor, and train medical officers, senior medical officers, and trainees.
- Participate actively in clinical governance, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, pharmacy, diagnostics, and HMO functions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with institutional policies and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized medical institution.
- Successful completion of housemanship and NYSC (or valid exemption certificate).
- Current and valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship specialist experience in obstetrics and gynaecology.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex clinical cases and applying evidence-based medical practices.
