About the Role
ECWA Hospital, Egbe is a reputable 110-bed rural teaching hospital located in Kogi State, Nigeria, dedicated to providing compassionate healthcare and academic excellence since 1952. We are seeking a committed and experienced Consultant Family Physician to join our dynamic clinical and academic team, offering vital medical services to underserved communities across a wide region.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive clinical leadership within the Family Medicine Department.
- Supervise, train, and mentor Family Medicine residents and clinical staff.
- Manage day-to-day departmental administration and ensure adherence to best medical practices.
- Deliver high-quality patient-centred care in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate actively in hospital community life and spiritual outreach programs.
- Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or West African College of Physicians (WACP).
- Minimum of one year of licensed experience in Family Medicine within a recognized medical practice.
- Prior experience working in a mission or rural hospital environment is an added advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and patient-management skills.
