About the Role
Dragnet Solutions is looking for a dedicated and skilled Consultant Family Medicine to join our dynamic healthcare network in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will deliver comprehensive specialist family medicine care across the entire patient pathway, ensuring excellence in out-patient, in-patient, and referral settings while upholding the highest standards of clinical governance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and management for patients presenting with diverse acute and chronic conditions.
- Act as the senior point of referral, providing expert clinical judgment and handling complex medical cases.
- Supervise, mentor, and support the continuous training and professional development of junior medical officers and trainees.
- Drive clinical governance, medical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including diagnostics, pharmacy, nursing, and HMO functions.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely clinical records in compliance with organizational policies and MDCN regulations.
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid practicing license and registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Successful completion of housemanship/internship and NYSC, or valid exemption.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship specialist experience in family medicine or equivalent consultant-level practice.
- Demonstrated expertise in independent case management, medical training, and hospital clinical systems.
- Additional sub-specialty certifications or active membership in relevant medical faculties are highly advantageous.
