Key Responsibilities- Provide expert specialist consultations, thorough assessments, accurate diagnoses, and comprehensive treatment plans for ear, nose, and throat conditions.
- Manage patients with acute and chronic otolaryngological disorders, ensuring meticulous follow-up care.
- Request, interpret, and review relevant diagnostic investigations promptly and accurately.
- Perform specialized ENT surgical procedures and clinical interventions within your area of competence.
- Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including fellow consultants, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date electronic and physical medical records in compliance with hospital standards.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and long-term management strategies.
- Uphold professional medical ethics, rigorous clinical guidelines, and stringent patient safety standards.
- Contribute actively to departmental meetings, clinical audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- A recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Relevant postgraduate specialist qualification (such as FWACS, FNMCP, or equivalent) in Otorhinolaryngology.
- Current registration and a valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrable clinical experience practicing as a specialist ENT surgeon in a reputable healthcare setting.
