About the Role
Nibiru Industrial Footwear Company Limited is a leading footwear manufacturer focused on the dynamic Western African market. With an established presence in Angola, Nigeria, and Cote d'Ivoire, we are expanding our regional footprint to become the preferred partner for global footwear brands. We are currently looking for a dependable, professional Company Driver to join our growing team on a full-time, on-site basis in Lagos State, Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and timely distribution of our industrial safety products across designated routes, maintaining our reputation for operational excellence and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods between warehouses, clients, and partner locations in Lagos and surrounding areas.
- Adhere strictly to route schedules to ensure prompt and efficient deliveries.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logbooks, waybills, and receipt confirmations.
- Comply fully with Nigerian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and internal company safety policies.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients, vendors, and colleagues during pickups and drop-offs.
- Assist the logistics and warehouse teams with the physical loading and unloading of goods when required.
- Proven professional experience as a company driver, commercial driver, or truck driver, ideally within industrial or logistics sectors.
- Possession of a valid commercial driving license with a clean driving record and a strong commitment to road safety.
- In-depth knowledge of Lagos routes, major highways, and traffic management strategies.
- Basic understanding of routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Strong communication and customer service skills for professional stakeholder interactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours and handle moderate physical tasks such as lifting and cargo handling.
