Key Responsibilities- Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications to patients while verifying dosages and checking for potential drug interactions.
- Provide comprehensive patient counseling on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.
- Manage pharmacy inventory efficiently, including stock monitoring, ordering, expiration tracking, and safe storage of pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure strict adherence to all local regulatory compliance standards, pharmacy laws, and professional code of ethics.
- Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage daily administrative tasks within the pharmacy.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- 2 to 3 years of proven professional experience working in a community pharmacy setting.
- Must have successfully completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Strong proficiency in medication dispensing, inventory management, and patient counseling.
- Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory compliance in Nigerian pharmacy practice.
