About the Role
Accor S.A., the largest hospitality company in Europe and a global industry leader, is seeking a talented and dedicated Commis to join our esteemed culinary team in Nigeria. In this role, you will work closely with the Chef de Partie to create exceptional dining experiences, maintain rigorous hygiene standards, and uphold our world-class reputation for culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Organize daily mise-en-place production and food service in collaboration with the Chef de Partie.
- Ensure proper food storage, inventory management, and complete daily kitchen checklists.
- Prepare requisitions for wine, dry stores, and food items for approval by the Executive or Sous Chef.
- Adhere strictly to recipe specifications regarding portion size, quantity, and quality standards.
- Maintain strict hygiene and HACCP records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly and ensure proper follow-up maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with incoming shifts regarding functions and operational updates.
- 2 to 3 years of proven professional experience in a similar culinary capacity within a star-rated hotel or premium hospitality setting.
- Strong working knowledge of Continental Cuisine.
