Taghini Foods is a leading traditional poultry processing company based in Ibadan, dedicated to supplying premium fresh and frozen poultry products to wholesalers, caterers, and further processors, including Halal-certified options. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Broiler Farm Coordinator to provide comprehensive, end-to-end leadership for our large-scale broiler farming operations across multiple farm locations in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Lead and optimize commercial broiler operations managing a capacity of over 400,000 birds per production cycle.
- Drive exceptional performance across key metrics including livability, Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), cost efficiency, and strict biosecurity compliance.
- Oversee end-to-end production cycles, ensure consistent standard operating procedure (SOP) implementation, and champion data-driven performance improvements.
- Manage, mentor, and develop farm managers and technical field teams to foster high productivity and operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with veterinary, nutrition, processing, and supply chain departments to ensure seamless farm-to-factory integration.
- Report comprehensive operational performance metrics directly to executive management to guide strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, General Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, or a closely related field; a postgraduate qualification will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on professional experience in commercial poultry operations within the agricultural industry.
- At least 5 years serving in a senior farm leadership or operational management role.
- Proven, demonstrable experience successfully managing 400,000+ broilers per single production cycle.
- Strong technical knowledge of open-sided broiler farming systems and nocturnal farm operations.
- Demonstrated excellence in team leadership, complex data analysis, and tactical operational execution.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly across various farm locations as required by business needs.
