About the Role
Spin 95.3 FM, a vibrant commercial broadcast radio station operating 24/7 out of Umuahia, Abia State, is looking for detail-oriented and reliable Cleaners to join our growing team. As a key part of our facility management, you will ensure that our studios, offices, and common areas remain spotless and welcoming for staff, guests, and visitors alike.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive daily cleaning of all radio studios, offices, reception areas, and restrooms.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Empty trash bins, dispose of waste properly, and sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the facility.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and interior doors to ensure a clear and professional appearance.
- Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and report shortages to management in a timely manner.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is safely stored and properly maintained after use.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and workplace sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Proven professional experience working as a Cleaner, Janitor, or in a similar housekeeping role.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, safety protocols, and proper equipment handling.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to handle physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, respectful demeanor suited for a corporate media environment.
- Residency in or easy accessibility to Umuahia, Abia State is strongly preferred.
