About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI), a leading HR and Management Consultancy firm, is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Cleaner for our prestigious luxury restaurant client in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in upholding uncompromising standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation. You will ensure that our dining areas, kitchens, and guest facilities remain immaculate, safe, and visually refined, directly contributing to an exceptional luxury hospitality experience.
Key Responsibilities- Clean, sanitize, and maintain all restaurant areas including dining spaces, non-cooking kitchen zones, restrooms, and staff facilities.
- Manage waste disposal efficiently, ensuring bins are emptied, sanitized, and odor-free according to hygiene standards.
- Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and use all cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Handle basic laundry duties such as cleaning staff uniforms, table linens, and napkins as required.
- Support the guest experience by conducting prompt cleanups before, during, and after service hours with discretion and professionalism.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards immediately to management.
- Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent, with professional sanitation training being an added advantage.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a professional cleaning or hygiene role within a hotel, restaurant, or luxury hospitality setting.
- Sound knowledge of safety practices regarding chemical handling and cleaning equipment.
- Strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
