About the Role
Premiere Royale International School and ICONS Comprehensive College, located in Ijapo Estate, Akure, Ondo State, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Class Assistant Teacher to join our dynamic academic community. As a Class Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital support role in fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for our students from early years through primary education.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging daily lessons and learning activities.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who require extra academic attention.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment.
- Help prepare teaching aids, classroom materials, and educational resources.
- Monitor and record student attendance, participation, and developmental progress.
- Supervise students during recess, lunch breaks, and school-sponsored extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate professionally with parents regarding student welfare.
- Possession of a relevant academic qualification, NCE, OND, or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is an added advantage.
- Strong passion for teaching, child development, and shaping young minds.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage a vibrant classroom environment.
- Residency in Akure or willingness to commute to Ijapo Estate regularly.
