Beth-Neills Playhouse & Preschool, a premier faith-based early childhood education center in Calabar, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Class Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate learning activities and classroom lessons
- Support classroom management and maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
- Monitor and respond to children's emotional and developmental needs with care and professionalism
- Assist with feeding, hygiene, and basic care routines throughout the school day
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and behavioral observations
- Help prepare educational materials, displays, and classroom resources
- Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure consistent care and educational standards
- B.Sc, B.Ed, or NCE in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- TRCN certification or teaching registration (advantageous)
- Genuine passion for working with young children aged 2-5 years
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
