About the Role
The National Institute for Nigerian Languages (NINLAN), an Inter-University Centre for Nigerian Language Studies operating under the regulation of the National Universities Commission (NUC), is seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of various construction and infrastructural maintenance projects across our expanding campus. Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, and supervise civil engineering construction and maintenance projects for campus infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed structural designs, cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with architectural designs, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and contractor relationships to ensure successful and timely delivery.
- Perform routine structural assessments and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades to existing facilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, architects, and institutional management on infrastructural development strategies.
- Possess relevant academic qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Must hold appropriate professional certifications and be registered with relevant bodies such as COREN.
- Demonstrate professional experience in managing building and infrastructure projects, preferably within the educational sector.
