About the Role
Colourbox Early Learning Hub is an exciting, newly established early childhood care center located in the vibrant area of Opebi, Lagos. We are dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that fosters the holistic development of young children. As we launch our state-of-the-art facility, we are seeking caring, enthusiastic, and hands-on Childcare Practitioners / Child-Minders to join our pioneer team and help us build a world-class childcare setting from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities- Provide warm, responsive, and attentive care to young children throughout the day.
- Support daily routines including feeding, nappy changing, toileting, sleep routines, and personal care.
- Facilitate engaging play, early learning, and age-appropriate developmental activities.
- Collaborate closely with Room Leaders to ensure the smooth, efficient operation of the room.
- Strictly adhere to the crèche safeguarding, health, safety, and childcare policies at all times.
- Maintain high standards of child supervision, safety, and general hygiene.
- Assist with setting up learning environments, tidying rooms, and cleaning equipment and resources.
- Provide flexible support to team members and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
- Genuine passion for working with young children with a caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and professional demeanor with strong teamwork skills.
- Comfortable handling a balance of attentive childcare and necessary cleaning responsibilities.
- Previous practical experience in a crèche, nursery, school, daycare, or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Relevant early childhood education or childcare certifications will be a distinct advantage.
- Competitive monthly salary of N100,000.
