About the Role
H. Pierson Associates, a leading boutique consulting firm with over 24 years of excellence across Nigeria and the West Coast, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Security Officer (CSO). In this executive role, you will spearhead strategic security initiatives, develop robust safety policies, and safeguard our personnel, physical assets, and stakeholders against environmental and external threats.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, manuals, and emergency response procedures for corporate and field locations.
- Protect company facilities, staff, and tangible assets from external and environmental threats, unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism.
- Handle executive security details and provide tactical security support for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and investigations into security breaches or incidents, ensuring prompt reporting and corrective action.
- Oversee the training, performance, and deployment of security guards and personnel across all corporate and district offices.
- Drive employee security awareness through regular bulletins, training sessions, and updates on safety protocols.
- Manage the security MIS database, oversee departmental budgeting, and collaborate with legal counsel on service-level agreements.
- HND or Bachelor's Degree in any related discipline; an MBA or Master's degree is a distinct advantage.
- Possession of relevant professional security certifications.
- Minimum of 14 years of cognate experience in the armed forces or police force (not below the rank of Captain or equivalent), with at least 5 years in a corporate environment and senior management role.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, business continuity planning, and physical security operations.
